Grain Extractors:
Silo Bag offers two brands of Grain extractors, Mainero and Akron.
The Mainero is a well refined machine that is capable of outloading up to 120 tonnes per hour using very low power requirments.
The secret is its two augers to sweep the grain towards the main centre auger. It can handle bags from 5 to 9 feet in diameter simply by adjusting the sweep angle of the two outside augers.
The whole machine rests on three floating brushes… and the two wings are spring loaded to give floatation to the machine while operating inside the bag. This feature makes the machine ideal for retrieving crusted or soggy material easily and without operator adjustments. It’s the ideal machine for effortless and rapid bag emptying… without the shovel.
The augers are all hydraulic drive fed from a 45L/minute hydraulic pump from oil contained within the frame of the machine. The frame therefore acts as a heat exchanger and delivers maximum machine and oil life.
Transport is easy. Simply fold the auger, raise the extraction assembly and lock the safety pins. Now its transport width is just 1.84 metres.
It’s a very safe machine with agricultural machinery standard IRAM 8076-0 certification.
